What we believe

Jesus was a real historical person. He lived a perfect human life and in the end was crucified and buried in a tomb. On the third day He rose again and now enjoys endless life. He will come back to this world soon where He will reign as the King. Jesus existed before the manger in Bethlehem. He is God in human form. To know and follow Jesus is to know and follow God. To reject Jesus is to reject God.

The Bible was written by the hands of men yet it was God who directed each word. It is the Word of God and is the Work of God. We accept it as absolute authority on all matters of faith, full stop. We affirm it is true at all times, in every situation and for every person - making it practical to our daily lives. We plan to teach through the entire Bible verse by verse.

Love - We believe that church is not the building we meet in but the people we fellowship with and the love we share with each other. We believe the only true basis of Christian fellowship is Christ's (Agape) love, which is greater than any differences we possess, and without which we have no right to claim ourselves Christians.

We also believe worship of God should be spiritual. Therefore, we remain flexible and yielded to the leading of the Holy Spirit to direct our worship.

We believe worship of God should be inspirational. Therefore, we give great place to music in our worship.

We believe worship of God should be intelligent. Therefore, our services are designed with great emphasis upon the teaching of the Word of God that He might instruct us how He should be worshipped.

We believe worship of God should be fruitful. Therefore, we look for His love in our lives as the supreme manifestation that we have been truly worshipping Him.
